Our Patents

Overview

  • Phasex Corporation has received seven U.S. patents on supercritical fluid applications.  Additionally, Phasex personnel are listed on six patents that have been assigned to other companies.  The Phasex contribution to these patents has been supporting or completely enabling technology that has led to the invention.

  • The patents on which Phasex is an inventor vary widely in teaching and claims: some describe supercritical fluid formation of micro-and nano-particles; some describe the extraction of volatile residuals and by-products from silicon-polymer adhesives used on space vehicles; and two describe the deposition of ceramic precursor polymers (such as silazanes and carbosilanes) into microporous substrates for the purpose of increasing high temperature oxidation resistance.

  • All of these inventions were enabled by supercritical fluid technology, and all resulted from collaborative efforts with the respective companies.
